Newly created characters with Summerset access will start in Summerset. Otherwise you should play through the Thalmor Embassy part of the main quest. Easy bandit camp, close to civilization, piece of cake to get. There’s actually a High Elf corpse in the pit trap in Halted Streams camp, just north of Whiterun. Speaking to them should allow the Dragonborn to travel with the caravan to Elsweyr. Inside that door is a caravan with Khajiit inside. There should be a door to the right of the inn’s entrance. To start the mod, the Dragonborn must travel to Falkreath, and enter the Dead Man’s Drink Inn. Laugh, and the world laughs with you Weep, and you weep alone. While not purely ‘lore’ friendly, Falskaar and Wyrmstooth are the only two new lands mods worth playing.
